Hello! My name is Marina, and I’m an illustrator and designer with a focus in fantasy illustration. I got started when I was still in grade school, and I began stealing my older sibling’s Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 Monster Manual and marveled at all the beautiful monster illustrations found within its glistening pages. I knew, even back then, in my dragon poster-covered room, that I wanted to make fantasy art for the rest of my life. I graduated college with an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design in 2018 and worked professionally in the promotional product and apparel industry for five years, doing more and more illustration on the side as time went on.

I began selling my art as prints and designing my own fantasy-themed merchandise at comic conventions around the US in 2021, and have only fell more in love with illustrating. Much of my inspiration comes from TTRPG games and, more recently, as I’ve studied and fell in love with medieval history, have been incorporating medieval art stylistic elements more often. This is seen most heavily in my bestiary series, where I’ve depicted some lesser-known fantasy creatures such as the Vegetable Lamb.
